Having emerged out of the 'Music World: Series (2006) - Mark Lotz & 'A Fula’s Call' subsequently hit the road with wheels spinning on tours in Holland, Ukraine, Moldavia, and Russia, followed soon after by the CD release of: Mark Lotz Meets Omar Ka, LIINGU (2008). Omar Ka with roots in the Niger and flutist Mark Alban Lotz form the pounding hart of 'A Fula's Call' that includes Bao Sissoko (cora), Jeroen van Vliet (piano) and Afra Mussawisade (percussion). A global collective which matches Fulani vocals with jazz virtuosity, electronic sound scapes and World Grooves. Eurafrican music with an itching global touch, a spiritual crossover.

Omar Ka belongs to the West African nomadic tribe of the Fula. His lyrics speak of the life and culture of the nomadic tribe of the Fulani. German flautist Mark Alban Lotz gained international acclaim with a.o. his interpretations of Afro Cuban religious folklore. Afra Mussawisade is master percussionist, cora player Bao Sissoko is a virtual sensation in Senegal right now at the vital Dakar music scene, Jeroen van Vliet is an very respected and exciting jazz piano soloist and composer.

2010 Tour Egypt, 2009 Tour Bulgaria. 2010 and 2011 c's a unique collaboration of A Fula's Call with the Euregio Wind, Brass and Percussion Orchestra. Concerts in Holland and a Tour in Senegal/Ghana are planed.
